In short: your documents never leave your device. Ostibook has no accounts, no ads, and doesn't follow you from one website to another.
Your documents
A file you add is read and converted in your browser. It is never sent to any Ostibook server.
Importing from a web address
If you paste a document's address, your browser contacts that website directly, and the site can see your IP address. Ostibook sends no cookie and no referrer, and doesn't keep the address. You tick a consent box before every import.

You can erase all of it from your browser's settings. The quota shown in the library is the browser's own estimate, not an analysis of your disk.
Exports and publishing
Ostibook hosts nothing. The QR code and the embed code use the address you enter.
Technical data
Ostibook relies on a technical provider to serve its pages. That provider may process the information the site needs to run normally, such as the IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the browser type or technical errors.
Audience measurement
Ostibook uses no analytics or advertising service. No tracker is active on the site.
Cookies and local storage
No tracking cookie is set. The only cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, remembers your language. The rest is the local storage described above.
