Six reading modes

Each mode gives the document the look of an object you leaf through.

• Book. Novels, memoirs, manuals

• Brochure. Leaflets and programs

• Catalog. Products and collections

• Magazine. Issues and periodicals

• Report. Files and write-ups

• Album. Photos and keepsakes

Read

• The page turns with a click, the keyboard, a finger, or by dragging its corner.
• When the device cannot display 3D, a simpler reading mode takes over.
• Search, contents and read aloud, when the document contains text. Reading aloud uses the voices installed on the device, and the button does not appear if there are none.
• A presentation mode in full screen, with a timer, a preview of the next page and a black screen.
• A link can open the flipbook directly at a given page.
• Light or dark theme.

Import

• PDF, EPUB, DOCX and PPTX, up to 200 MB per file. For a long document, only the beginning is shown, namely 150 pages of a PDF, 150 chapters of an EPUB, 100 pages of a DOCX or 150 slides of a PPTX.
• Up to 200 JPG, PNG or WebP images, combined into a single document in the order of their file names.
• Text, Markdown or HTML, laid out with its headings, lists and quotes. Tables and images are not carried over.
• A file, or a long text pasted directly.
• A file online, by its address, if the site hosting it allows it.
• The web, email and phone links of a PDF. Links pointing to another page of the document are not carried over.
• Documents in Arabic or Hebrew turn from right to left.

Edit

• A cover made with a title, an author and a color.
• Pages removed or moved, and several documents combined into a single flipbook.
• Links and notes added to the pages.

Export and share

• An HTML file that opens without a connection, a folder ready to publish on your site, or a project to reopen in Ostibook.
• The size of the export is shown before download, with three quality levels.
• An export can be protected by a password. Without it, no one can open it. A protected folder must be published online to open.
• A QR code and an embed code in four formats, based on the address where you publish the flipbook.
• A share image, to place next to the HTML file.
• A shelf groups 2 to 24 flipbooks in one folder, with a home page.

Find again

• Your flipbooks stay in your browser's library, on this device.
• Reading resumes at the last page read.
